On 18th September, a selection of Church literature and media were presented to students from a senior RME class at Glenrothes High School in Fife. In the Autumn term, the senior students study World Religions and members were asked to visit their class for one period to talk about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The students were all engaged and asked a few questions. They were particularly interested in the Family History information and they were left with a few copies of “Our Family”.
The students were invited to learn more by attending the local interfaith group and view a few Church films including Meet the Mormons and The Testaments.
Karen, the RME teacher, was thrilled with the presentation and the materials left. She is excited to read them herself and looks forward to discussing more with her pupils.
These films were among the things presented along with a copy of the Book of Mormon, The Encyclopaedia of Mormonism, Our Search for Happiness, and other publications.

The students were also given a list of websites, including the Church’s YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter pages, so they can research anything of particular interest on official church sites.
