Area Leadership Message

When we are One in Christ by helping and supporting each other, we will be One with Christ and His Spirit will be with us to guide and help us through life`s journey.
The path to conversion, like a marriage, may begin with a flash of inspiration, but will blos-som into covenant relationship with God, where we are filled with His love.
As we obey the Lord and learn to trust and love Him, our heart gradually changes, and our desires shift their focus towards our covenant relationship with Him.
In a world of increasing complexity, Jesus Christ can help us understand what really matters most.
Forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts our Heavenly Father has given us. Through the atoning work of Jesus Christ, we can receive the joyful miracle of forgiveness—by experiencing a powerful change of heart, by becoming “a saint …, as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love”, by feeling peace and assurance, and by receiving comfort and the strength to continue joyfully upon the covenant path.
Each week we are given the opportunity to reflect on the covenants we have made with God. As we worthily partake of the sacrament, we recommit ourselves and strive to always remember Jesus Christ and take His name upon us.
Before being called as an Area Seventy, I faced one of the most challenging phases of my faith journey.

Let us all listen to and ponder the counsel of our prophet and find out for ourselves again and again what the Lord invites us personally to do.
Gratitude is not just a key to personal joy. It also motivates us to be a blessing to others and change the world for the better.
We can make the Sabbath day a delight by rendering service to others, especially those who are not feeling well or those who are lonely or in need.
I truly believe the Lord loves grateful people and we will be even more blessed with what we need, because we are grateful.
