Area Leadership Message

What of us? Do we “buy for other people?” Or are we patient enough to wait so that we do not get into debt except for essentials – possibly education, a house and modest car – and even then we pay them off quickly.
How do we assess the importance of spiritual and temporal Self-Reliance?
I am convinced that the inspired invitation we have each been given – “To Bring a Friend to Him” – is one that we can all follow and apply in our lives.
We live in times of great commotion. The daily news and our own personal challenges could make our courage fail and cause fear to overtake us
If we open our eyes and hearts we can find someone to bless with our kindness during this special season.
My vision on where to go is sometimes blurry while standing on the ground, but the Lord has prepared a way to help us and guide us through life since he has a better view.
At the beginning of this earth, we already learned that a day of sanctification and rest was defined.
By making the Sabbath holy we can take joy in it and experience many blessings that God is anxious to pour upon us.
To be born of God is a unique, personal and unforgettable experience that enables us to overcome our lives’ challenges.
The little cards with three invitations to act are intended to bring us and our friends closer to our Heavenly Father and our Savior.
Self-reliance is the ability, commitment, and effort to provide the spiritual and temporal necessities of life for self and family. As members become self-reliant, they are also better able to serve and care for others.
Living according to the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ will bring the blessings of spiritual and temporal self-reliance.
