Area Leadership Message
Each week we are given the opportunity to reflect on the covenants we have made with God. As we worthily partake of the sacrament, we recommit ourselves and strive to always remember Jesus Christ and take His name upon us.
Before being called as an Area Seventy, I faced one of the most challenging phases of my faith journey.
Let us all listen to and ponder the counsel of our prophet and find out for ourselves again and again what the Lord invites us personally to do.
Gratitude is not just a key to personal joy. It also motivates us to be a blessing to others and change the world for the better.
We can make the Sabbath day a delight by rendering service to others, especially those who are not feeling well or those who are lonely or in need.
I truly believe the Lord loves grateful people and we will be even more blessed with what we need, because we are grateful.
May we work diligently to prepare, train and nurture our spirit, just like we do with our body, by developing good spiritual habits.
I testify that this is true. When we prepare with gratitude and in joyful anticipation conditioning our hearts for the Lord to take and seal it for His courts above General Conferences can become some of the greatest times of the year
I invite you to document the hand of the Lord in your life, starting retrospectively as far as you can remember.
“Building and maintaining temples may not change your life but spending your time in the temple surely will”
