The Tabernacle Choir Presidency is seeking to call new Global Participants from throughout the world, rotating among areas of the Church. All airfare, accommodations and food will be provided for those chosen to sing with the Tabernacle Choir during selected General Conferences.

Selection Requirements for New Global Participants
Members in good standing with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who live outside the United States and Canada can be considered for the Global Participant Program if they meet the following requirements:
- Are between the ages of 25 - 55 years old
- Maintains a full or limited-use temple recommend
- Are proficient in written and spoken English
- Possess high emotional maturity and personal stability
- Possess music reading skills
- Demonstrate strong vocal music skills compatible with the Choir’s needs
- Have personal circumstances that allow them to fulfill service assignments
- Demonstrate a willingness to accept a part-time missionary assignment which will require extensive periods of intense preparation
Commitment Requirements for New Global Participants
Those who serve as Global Participants:
- Will normally fulfill two General Conference assignments unless circumstances direct otherwise.
- Will attend quarterly trainings and devotional meetings until they have been formally released by the Tabernacle Choir Presidency.
- Will travel to Salt Lake City about two weeks prior to singing in April or October General Conference.
- Will be expected to prepare remotely using available technology under Choir leadership for the assignment. GPs will rehearse with the Choir and receive music training.
- Will receive ongoing music training designed to assist them as musicians and to enhance their service in their assignment to sing with The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.
- May hold other church responsibilities in their local ward and stake organizations. Service as a GP is not considered a primary church calling.
- Will be set apart as missionaries by a member of the Choir Presidency when they come for their first assignment.
